Carmel is a community that takes design seriously — and we love it for that. From the European-inspired homes in Village of West Clay to the modern builds along 116th Street, our work fits the architecture, not the other way around.

Rines Design has built custom cabinetry in Carmel, Indiana since 2004, running every order through our Indianapolis workshop just down the road. Carmel's reputation as one of Indiana's most design-forward suburbs comes from a community that invests in good planning — you can read more about that at carmel.in.gov — and we hold our Carmel kitchen remodeling and custom closet work to the same standard, block by block from Clay Township estates to the newer builds near City Center.
Our cabinet makers know the architecture here, from traditional colonials in Village of West Clay to contemporary open-plan homes near Bridgewater and Plum Creek. With over 20 years as a cabinet maker Carmel IN homeowners call back for a second project, we handle Carmel custom woodworking and Hamilton County custom cabinets with the same shop-built precision, whether you start with custom kitchen cabinetry or a full custom closet system.

From the first measurement to the last screw, our entire workflow runs out of our Indianapolis shop — and shows up at your door in Carmel.
Building new homes in Carmel takes tight scheduling. We hit our delivery dates every time. Your cabinets show up when the framing and drywall schedule calls for them, not a week late. Builders across Hamilton County plan around us because we do not slow a job down. Consistent quality, delivered on your timeline.
Contractors need one person to call, not five. We give you a single point of contact from the first measurement to the final install. We quote honest lead times and stick to them. Our crew coordinates directly with your job site, so cabinet delivery never slows down the rest of the work.
Designers bring us a vision, and we build it exactly. We match your specified finishes, hardware, and materials down to the last detail, with no substitutions unless you approve them first. Your drawings become real cabinetry that looks the way you pictured it. That precision is why Carmel designers keep calling us back.
Architects send us construction documents, and we send back shop drawings before we cut anything. We hold tight tolerances on every panel and joint. Technical precision matters more than speed on a complex Carmel custom woodworking project, and we treat it that way. Your design intent survives the build, not just the drawing set.
Homeowners in Carmel have worked with us for over 20 years, and many call us back for a second or third project. We show up in person, walk your space, and talk through ideas face to face. There is no call center and no sales script, just a local cabinet shop that remembers your kitchen. That relationship is worth more than a lower price.
DIYers do not always need a full install, just the right pieces. We build individual cabinet boxes, doors, and drawer fronts to your exact measurements. You get shop-quality parts without paying for installation you do not need. Pick them up from our Indianapolis shop, or we can arrange delivery within Hamilton County.
